Michael Jackson died in his LA Mansion on June 25th, 2009, within one year of his passing the Michael Jackson Estate and Sony music announced the most lucrative music deal in history. A 7 year 10 album deal worth 250 million dollars coupled with a new deal with Pepsi, Cirque de Sole. The deal also promised a movie that promised a side of the icon as never before seen, ‘This is it’ became the greatest documentary to ever hit the big screens.
Within a year the release of the first new music from the vaults of Michael Jackson to be released were made public and greeted warmly. Those who knew and worked with Jackson close trashed ‘Michael’ the first posthumous release, fans as well made some noise claiming that some of the tracks did not sound like their icon and demanded answers. Sony music and the Jackson estate immediately denied the charges stating they hired the best in audio experts to verify the tracks in question and all tracks. Regardless even Michaels daughter Paris claimed the music simply did not sound like her father.

In April Justin Timberlake, Usher, and Timberlake were among some of the artist who helped debut the single ‘Love never felt so good’ a demo turned duet recorded during in Michael Thriller sessions. The album went #1 in over 50 countries worldwide including #2 in the United States. A hologram revealed during the 2014 fans praised Billboard music awards and friends of Michael and rumors of a tour to come are being heard.
